Planet Pillar
Overview
The Planet Pillar is focused on five SDGs that reflect the critical contribution that nature makes to human life and recognizes the current state of our natural environment: SDG 6 on clean water and sanitation; SDG 12 on responsible consumption and production; SDG 13 on climate action; SDG 14 on life below water; and SDG 15 on life on land.
Status of the Synthesis
The Management Group is co-chaired by GCF and UNEP, with support from other members (UNDP, UNICEF, OIOS, UNV, GEF, SEEforALL, DEval). The Pillar has finalized its initial scoping exercise to assess the quantity and nature of evidence and identify clear thematic priorities for future living syntheses. A scoping review report was published in June 2025.
