The Partnership Pillar includes SDG 17 on strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development. It has five components: finance, technology, trade, capacity building, and systemic issues, including the integration of SDGs into national strategies. In this way, it is intended as an enabler for achieving progress on the other SDG pillars.
The Partnership Pillar synthesis is the first commissioned by the Coalition. The full synthesis report and an accompanying brief were launched at the 2023 UN General Assembly on the 17th September 2023. Please see the links below to access these documents.
The synthesis was conducted by the American Institutes for Research, under the guidance of the Coalition and led by a Management Group consisting of Canada, Ireland, Spain, OIOS, UNDP, UNFPA, WFP, UN Joint SDG Fund, UNICEF and IDEAS.
The full report, EGMs, a brief produced by the Coalition, and a short two-pager containing key insights can be accessed using the links below.
